It’s hard to figure out where to buy books nowadays, so this page is here to help. First of all, you can go to any bookstore and order my books. It’s unlikely that they will have any in stock, unless you go to Park Road Books in Charlotte, NC. They will often have some of my books on their local authors shelves.
You can always order stuff directly from me, here on the site. I’m moderately slow about shipping books, but now that Suzy is more available to make Post Office runs, I’m getting better. I email out the e-books that I sell here on the site within 24 hours.

All my books are available for the Nook, and the print books are available at Barnes & Noble here.
A lot of my books (all the novels, and most short stories) are available at Smashwords. Smashwords gives you the option of buying for multiple e-readers, so you can have copies for whatever format device you own. They don’t have any print capability, so it’s e-books only here.
Most of the novels are also available in the iTunes store, but I don’t have a good source for linkage, because it’s an in-app search function. Just put in “John Hartness” in the search box and that’ll hook you up. If there’s a book that you want that isn’t yet available for Apple devices, you can buy it here on my site as an ePub file, or at Smashwords.
